Merlin Season 4 Episode 3: The Wicked Day

Help comes from the most unexpected person. It was a very sad moment not just for Arthur who have lost one of his trusted knight or for the kingdom who said goodbye to the great person that swore to protect them at any cost, but for Merlin, it was really a dark hour as he have lost not just a good friend who will listen to his story but as well as a person who can understand about his thought and know about his hidden secret. Lancelot passed away on the last week episode of everybody’s favorite magical tv series, Merlin however, he never loses his breath in the battle but sacrifice this in order to stop the chaos reigning in the land that already kills the lives of many people. Although Merlin was determine to sacrifice himself as well as Arthur, but in the end it was Lancelot who silently walks into the mouth of death and embraced his dark end. He may realize that his role had nothing compare to what is written for merlin and Arthur so he decided to sacrifice himself instead.

Did it makes you cry knowing that Lancelot was one of the attention-grabbing character of the series that add spice into it? Did you even question why the show decided to finish his role this early rather than forfeit the role of those minor characters? Perhaps the series only need two heroes, but let’s not deal with such thing because it was done already. Let’s talk about what’s new with the series now that Morgana seems having trouble and cracking her head thinking of what else she had to do to bring the kingdom down. And let us not forget that she had the most resourceful allies on her hands, the person who acted like he was ready to be the next crown king in Camelot last week. Aside from that, the return of the dragon also made our night, though his rule was quite short that we can’t even recognize the true color of his scales.
Anyway, as the “Darkest Hour” war was over, we are now craving for the newest adventures of our young warlock. With a title of “The Wicked Day“, the 3rd episode of the current season and the 42nd episode of the entire series will deliver straight to our tv screens the big birthday bash of Prince Arthur. King Odin plots to ensure this is one celebration Camelot will never forget. But what they don’t know is that the prince’s old adversary has arranged for a deadly assassin to lurk among the assembling guests with intent to strike.
What will happen it the assassin will strike it arrow and bow to his target? Could Merlin’s magic stop this upcoming chaos or once again, the kingdom of Camelot will have its 2nd dark hour that will only make the prince more devastated? Merlin season 4 episode 3 is lock and loaded to join our Friday fun this October 15, 2011!
